About National Water Fund
It was clear to the founder of National Water Fund: "In order to achieve significant carbon dioxide emission
reduction in the United States and worldwide. Fossil fuel consumption would have to be significantly
replaced by renewable energy and renewable fuel resources.
World wide, the predominate sources used to meet mankind's energy demands is fossil fuels. The large
scale use of fossil fuels in developing energy has resulted in significant increases in carbon dioxide levels
in our atmosphere and oceans. These increased levels of carbon dioxide have been identified as one of
the primary sources contributing to Global Climate Change. The extent of climate change as a result of the
existing levels of carbon dioxide are unknown at this time. However, it is clear that the levels of carbon
dioxide induced by mankind's use of fossil fuels is changing earth's climate.
The continued use and any increases in use of fossil fuels will only continue to alter earth's climate. Many
well respected scientists believe, at some unknown point this alteration will reach an irreversible point. At
that point a significant number of the living species upon earth, including mankind, will face the possibility
of extinction.
Developing large volumes of renewable fuel would require developing vast amounts of organic matter that
would be used as fuel feed stocks. These fuel feed stocks are currently derived from agricultural production
of food quality resources. Potential to cause shortages in food supply and water resources were identified
as potential problems associated with large scale production of renewable fuel.
To sustain a production level of renewable fuels capable of replacing a majority of fossil fuels such as coal,
oil and natural gas significant amounts of fuel feed stock production must be sustained. To sustain the
level of fuel feed stock production a significant increase in agricultural production would be required.
Increased agricultural production has potential to increase fresh water consumption for irrigation purposes
by significant amounts.
The fresh water requirement for the production of significant levels of renewable fuel poses a potential to
substantial deplete fresh water resources. To achieve a sustained production of renewable fuels in large
volume over a long period of time would require large volumes of sustainable fresh water resources.
Clearly a necessary step in the sustained development of renewable fuel production in significant volumes
was ensuring sustainable water resources.
Beyond a need to sustain fresh water resources against depletion caused by large scale production of
renewable fuel. Human populations worldwide are increasing. Increased populations place additional
usage demands upon fresh water resources. Managing flood conditions and drought conditions of
agricultural areas and areas of habitation is also an essential part in sustaining fresh water resources.
Clean, sustained water resources is a clear and present need for human health. Factor in water usage in
the production of renewable energy to combat Global Climate Change and the need for sustainable fresh
water resources becomes pressing. It became clear, there was an immediate and present need for an
organization to address sustained fresh water resources in a comprehensive manner that included the
development of renewable energy sources meant to combat Global Climate Change."
Thus, Mr. Robert Dean Ware founded National Water Fund to meet this need. Incorporated December 13,
2006, National Water Fund is a IRS 501(c)(3) eligible non-profit organization established under the
Pennsylvania Non-Profit Incorporation Law of 1988 and as amended.
